BAHHH stupid mistake again.

I dumped in gallon jug of vinegar I was using to clean pumps etc. Fish were literally cartwheeling about the tank, and I thought I had a complete wipeout on my hands.

Wow.. Sounds like you were making a fish salad. I can't believe that wasn't a complete disaster.

So far everyone seems ok.....

May have dodged another bullet.

That's great to hear. I think you will be just fine. I've seen worse when it comes to salinity.

It is absolutely amazing to me how my current tanks have survived this and other disasters, including the hammer in the KW ATO episode, which is too embarrassing to repeat.

And yet, here's some recent snaps of my two tanks:

I think once non-expert stock has been acclimated and lived happily for a bit then it will take a quite a big shock to kill them, temperature failure or power cut has been my experience.

I went back to my lfs a couple of weeks after buying my clowns and the lady said "How are your clowns?" and I said "I would probably have to take a hammer to them now to kill them." I did get a very weird look.
