how do I know if i have the right ballast/bulb comdo as far as pulse or probe start? I bought the ballasts used they are Blue wave 175w ballasts and blue line bulbs and it seems like the bulbs dont last long at all like a month or two then the corals start reaching for light and changing color becoming more dull. how do I tell which kind of ballast I have ballasts have been painted (before I bought them) and they riped off the labels and im thinking i matched up a pulse start ballast with a american bulb.
