Ballast question

Hey folks, I'm looking for input/help from you wizards of electronics. I've got a couple of Advance T-5 ballasts with the poke in connectors for both the bulb wires and the power source. My problem is the connectors on the power source side are scorched and won't hold the wires. I believe the ballast is still functional but I can't get the wires to stay connected. Any help would be appreciated.

if the connectors are burned up, and wont hold teh wires, it would be trashcan at my house.

Yes, and if it didn't look like you could pop off the poke in connector part and replace it it would be in mine too.

Lucky. do you know why the ends are scorched up? thats where my concern lies.

Good question. The + and - touched when wiring up.

Tim, Were you wiring while that was Live??? Not a good practice If you were. I would not ever go into any live fixture for any reason, Just from a safety standpoint. FYI
