ballast question

is there a differance between PC ballast and standard floresent ballast and T5 or VHO. or are they based on wattage outputor posssibly ignighter types?

yes there is a difference.

what ballast do you have, and what kind of lights do you want to run on it?

workhorse and icecap 430 and 660 are the only ones i know of that can run pc, t5ho, and vho.

what i have is an opertunity to get some com. ballasts from a friend that works in a large building that has floresent lights. they are taking out the old and putting in upgrades. so if a ballast is a ballast and all it takes is wattage. i thought these would work for any type of light ?

what are the commercial ballasts running now for bulbs?
