Bangaii cardinal stopped eating in QT

I picked this fish up a couple weeks ago. Put him in QT w/cupramine. He was eating mysis like a piranha at first, and to a lesser extent reef caviar also. Now his two week copper treatment is done but he's gradually stopped eating. When I put mysis in the tank he'll suck-and-spit it once, then ignore it altogether. I tried live blackworms yesterday; he wasn't interested at all.

Any thoughts? I don't want to introduce him to the display now, not until I see him eating again.

Could it be the cupramine? Are cardinals copper-intolerant?

One more reason not to buy wild-caught BC. They're so easy to raise (even accidentally) that I can guarantee there's someone in your area raising them. Tank-raised are much, much hardier.

As for the copper, I personally don't like to treat with it unless I see actual disease. When I QT, I observe and get them used to the feeding schedule, but I don't treat them unless I see something to treat.

I had a WC Banggaii that did well for me. I quarantined it but only treated it with praziquantel. It never ate anything other than mysis.

Maybe try garlic juice with the mysis.
Hopefully itll entice them.

But it looks like the indovirus.
Google it many articles.
