bill just got his first order of salt in. he is using redsea salt. he pruchased 2 skids of 200g pails which comes to 96 pails to start with. he will need to purchase another 2 skids to have enough salt to start the tank.

Any idea what epoxy paint Bill will use to paint the fish tank room walls?
if you og to just about any online vendor they will cut you a deal on salt. you cant get it wholesale. even bill had to go through a retailer for his salt. but because he bought 2 skids(96 pails) he got it for a discount price. just ask places like forster and smith. there the biggest online retailer in the country righ now. they always have deals going on.Originally posted by Mr James
Can you tell me where he bought that salt from please?? Our reef club is sponsoring a 1500g system and the owners are looking for large quantities of salt, among other things.
PM on it's way too!!

im not sure on the complete selection of corals but i do know he wil have laot of acros at the top of the tank and softies and lps at the bottom of the tank. and the way bill feeds his fish i dont think they will be hungry. his skimmers will be big enough to handle the job.Originally posted by Justjoe
Just an FYI,
Once mine grew up a bit, they developed a taste for every expensive colorful zooanthid and decimated them, so if zoo's are "on the radar", they will most likely end up "on the menu" as well.
