Banner Butterfly with Popeye

Sorry no Pics kids destroyed my Camera how do you effectively treat Popeye on a Banner Butterfly. Fisrt time I have every had it in 15 Years of keeping anything Saltwater. So I must be ddoing something right. Hell I have never even had ICH on any of my Tangs. Had this fish for 6 months now this. Nothing new Thinking he moght have bumped a piece of LR swimming he is eating like a pig like always and plus noticed a scratch on the face of him today.

Tankmates are a Singapore Angel a Coral Beauty Angel Yellow Watchman Bicolor Pusedo Chromis and usual CUC.

I did some research and there is some evidence to support what he's saying. Personally, I would QT the Butterfly and treat with Maracyn 1 & 2. I say this because you have no idea what is causing the popeye in the first place. Could be he just bumped himself on a rock, could be a bacterial infection that can spread to the other fish...

Just fed the tank thismorning his eye is going down already. Yes 2 I see a scracth on the eye which leads me to think injury. Also hard to QT fish since he is way to big for the QT I have 14 gallons he is 5 inchs long and would be stressed out more n the QT. If I loose LR it will come back. CUC can be replaced. At least he is still eating well.

I'd at least do the Epsom Salt thing... It's reef safe.
