just a reminder or 2

just a reminder or 2

Hi all!
Just a week and a bit to go and it'll be Swap day.
So I just wanted to post a reminder or 2.
First though, I want to publicly thank this years BOD for putting out so much effort to present this event.
Ok, a few quick things:

ASAP (the venue) is really small for this event, and we will be tightly packed during the actual picking rounds. Please do not push, run or elbow your way to the picking tables. This is just a safety thing of course. We will have tents and tables and BBQ and drinks outside as usual.

PLEASE DIP EVERYTHING YOU BRING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There has been an alarming outbreak of pests in our hobby this year and it should be clear to everyone that pretty much everything should be QT'd, dipped, or both. If you need to know about dips, and we don't have a presentation during the swap, just ask a BOD member. In fact, if you're confused about anything, just ask a BOD member. That's what we're there for on swap day.

Please try to arrive as early as possible if you need to have corals judged for "rare". Every member of that committee has other jobs that begin as soon as the swap starts. Thx for that.

I've seen some of the eye candy that'll be in house next weekend and I must say, theres gonna be some amazing stuff on those tables.
So have fun, share gladly and help us celebrate our success as propagationists and farmers!
See you there!!

brought me to Ebay?
Huh??
It should be megaupload. You enter the 3 digit code and hit the download button (upper right hand corner). Wait for 45 seconds and hit download button again.

It's free so sometimes there is popup (just one). :D

If anyone have a web server and can host there, that would be better.

How about the club provide little bottles of Iodine dip for a couple of bucks? Or people could donate some if they have extra. Dips are quite expensive, so for one time use, I wouldn't mind paying 2-3 dollars. It would go a long way to eliminating the spread of pests. Seachem seems to be the best buy in my opinion $15 for 500mL. Of course one person won't use all that for a long time.

Xia,

Funny you should mention that :)

You must have been listening in on BOD frag swap planning discussions.

I think you'll be very happy come swap day :D

Yah, and thank you Mr. Still-Up-At-1am-And-Talking-About-Swap-Stuff.

:D

Just wanted to thank all you BODs for setting up another swap. Lord knows how much work is involved. That's why I would never want to be a board member.

For those of you sitting on the fence, you really should go. These swaps are always worth it.
