What does a BB tank look like? I was reading that they are really good for your SPS corals because there is nothing to get caught in the sand and pollute your water.

I am considering a BB tank but I have no idea what it would look like in a reef tank...

This my BB tank I just convert from DSB to BB. I move some of my sand to a refugium next to my main tank. BB is much easier to keep clean and since I need a lot of flow with SPS I don't have to worry about sand storm

wow I am very surprised, I actually like to look of BB! Do BB tanks limit what type of clean up crew you can add? Does the bottom of the tank get covered in corraline algae?

What does just a very thin layer of sand look like? Just barely enough to cover the bottom I think I would like. Is it hard to keep the pH stable?
