We were going to plumb our tank to the basement but changed out minds......we ended up downgrading tanks.....
Barracuda pump with Baldor motor - works great. It is a few years old with one year worth of use.

Have Mag 18 pump (too big for our smaller set up) It works great is about 5 years old........
