Bayer dosages for smooth skin acro dipping

I successfully beat them awhile back. The ONLY current treatment that works is to remove ALL sps from your tank (except monti's) and place them in a separate QT tank. Then, dip them weekly in a coral dip of your choice. I alternated between Bayer and Revive. Do this weekly for at least 4 weeks, 6 weeks is probably safer. Leave your display completely free of any SPS for the entire time.

I've been free of of AEFW for over 6 months now and my corals have never looked better.

If I ever had to do it again (which I pray I don't and I doubt I will because I strictly quarantine everything now) I would just use bayer. Its much gentler on the acros. The Revive will kill most smooth skinned, deep water acros unfortunately.
I didn't follow a specific dosing regimen with mine. I just placed them in a small container and poured a couple of capfuls of Bayer in. I would usually leave them in there for about 10 minutes.

Was a double strength guy myself just to see these suckers twitch immediately. 10ml per cup at 10min. Large Hawkins colony dipped roughly 9 times over the course of 2 months without issue.

Thats a lot but I'm glad everything worked out well. no bugs i bet

A year later about and no signs at all of those little bastards. In fact, the PE has never looked better. Learned the hard way to not buy from swaps etc as I don't have a QT process. Now I buy from Adam at Battlecorals, ORA etc.

Why dose so high? 0.5 ml per 2 cups kills AEFW, red bugs, gray bugs, black bugs, spiders of all sorts, you name it. I haven't had anything live through that dosage yet.

.5 ml will NOT kill gray bugs. I am dosing 10 ml/cup and they are swimming around for 30 minutes. They have wiped out almost all of my acros. Interceptor doesn't work on them either.
