Bayer Insect Killer Dosage

I've been experimenting with Bayer on SPS frags. 10/ml per cup was fine, but 20/ml per cup caused one to RTN.

Has anyone run an experiment with different concentrations and come up with a recomendation?

Note: My duration for the dip was 5 min and I also had Coral RX in there...

I go 40mL per gallon and store it. Dip 10 minutes unless the frag comes from a highly suspect source, then I'll go 12-15. No problems to date.

I use 10ml in half a solo cup of tank water for 5 min.

the reason you had dead coral was because you added coral rx with the bayer coral rx kills certain corals only add the bayer insecticide never add coral rx to the mix that's why it killed your coral

Pretty sure that wasn't the issue. I always dip with the two combined. The difference in this latest dip was the long increase in dosage of the Bayer. I think 20/ml per cup for 10 min is simply too long.

Note: My frogspawn & birdsnest frags made it out ok with the 20/ml per cup
