BB rockwork

How do you aquascape a bb tank. The sand has always helped me support the base rocks. I was thinking of doing pillars and running pvc up the center of some rocks and having a big acrylic base on the bottom of the pvc. How did you guys do it? Pics would help.

I just drilled all the rocks and threaded a 3/8" fiberglass rod through them and made pillars. With a big rock on the bottom, it's nice and sturdy.

I just cut some pvc rings in various sizes and placed my rock on top of those.
