Tonga pink and reef flake 3.0mm size I bought 50/50 3 bags each
Look pretty good has some pink hue to it plus not too small so the mp40 does not create a sand storm however I only turn on 30% of power because I position the mp40 close to the bottom to stir detritus. I have 4 wrasse in the tank and they love it

I ordered a new toy today from Marine Depot.

I ended up getting the AquaMaxx cTech T3 Calcium Reactor.

No progress as usual but here are some pics of the AquaMaxx cTech T3 Calcium Reactor. It is quite large haha . I'm going to order an industrial grade stainless dual stage regulator for it.







And the Reef Welder for the aquascape. I ordered two large jars so we'll see how it goes. I plan to drill the rock for acrylic rods.

Nice get a palmer master flex pump Cody u will not regret it, if your goal is keeping alk stable. The effluence is the key to keep your setting stable

Yes thanks. I will be looking into that down the road. Another reefer friend told me about a new controllable pump from Spectrapure that looks promising as well.

Can you post some pics of your sand bed.With a few closeups.Where did you get the sand from?

So for under the sump, I was able to get the foamed PVC from Paragon Plastics in Tustin for $37. One piece, 6' x 42" in Dark Blue.

I also officially ordered my dual stage regulator from AlanLe.

I should have both next week not like it matters for this long arse build!

What size tank should I get? 10lb? Any suggestions on where to buy? There is an Airgas close to my house that I was going to try.

**Answering my own questions- Airgas has a 10lb tank filled for $150. $180 for a 20lb.

I have a 20 lbs and I refill about once a year u can check Craigslist sometime u can get the tank pretty cheap then bring to airgas to exchange for a full one. I just refill today a 20 lbs tank cost me 20.10
