Hahn, thats an issue of semantics. There are nitrates and phosphates in my skimmer cup. Therefore my skimmer is removing nitrates and phosphates. Period. It doesnt matter how its removing them, it is removing them.
Its like arguing that the accelerator doesnt make a car go faster; It pulls a cord that opens a throttlebody that introduces more air into the engine, and the ECU compensates by telling the injectors to inject more fuel. Its an issue of semantics.
