Howdy all, its been awhile since I have posted here, but I found some very exciting/interesting species this past week!
So here is a MALE G. ternatensis (about 99% sure here) Blue antennae scales give it away, along with the orange meral spot! Going to set up a 10g for him until I get my apartment this fall and get my custom split AIO 20g tank to house my female and hopefully this male together.)

Then there were 2 of these...which I have no idea what species, so anyone have a possible ID? Smasher, 4-5"

Geez my screen!

:D

Anyway.. G. ternatensis and both of those look like G. Chiragra to me but for me the pixels are way too big altering the color a little...

And no.. other than L. maculata most stomatopods will kill their mates (with some rare exceptions which only a few reports are known)

It hurts my eyes looking back at my photos, no idea why the link insert decided to jumbtron them.

No, never put any other species together besides L. mac. they WILL be divided.

Even with an L. Maculata they must be male and female and at the right age to bond. Even then, they may not. To say you can just put them together would be incorrect.

It was out of context.

Put together as in same tank, but divided by a barrier they cannot get through.

Better silicone it in everyway and make sure it's unbreakable material. If they can spot each other they'll try swinging through the wall (or at the wall) until they get bored.

Kharn used eggcrates which resulted in some pretty halirious, harmless shenanigans. Although his couldn't fit through.

Yup so far double/triple siliconed eggcrate is the plan. Ill be siliconing some rock ruble caves the the wall to make a sorta center island that builds off of the divider to make it look less iron curtain-ish and more like a rock/cave pile.
