Before & After - PICS

Hello,

well I had posted about a month ago with a problem for my mushrooms, and got more comments on how my tank looked (not good ones) so i decide it was time for a overhaul.

I first scraped all the algae off with a credit card, got about 4 turbo snails to attack the rest. Took out all the empty shells and cleaned them off and added sand to the floor bed. Did quite a few water changes to get my nitrites and nitrates down, they were up there as you can see by the algae in the tank. I added a peppermint shrimp to get my aptasia in check. And finally I added a Via Aqua multi skimmer to the tank, and everything is going smooth. Except for the damsel picking on the shrimp, but thats a damsel i guess.

My tank: 10G

1- Yellow tail damsel
4 - turbo snails
2 - snails ???? (spikes on shell)
1 - peppermint shsrimp

what type of skimmer is that? I can't tell from the pic.

The skimmer I am using is called a Via Aqua Multi-skimmer.

what type of lighting are you using?

I'm using these bulbs here. I wish I could get ones that would work for this type of hood.
