I feel funny calling a glass box beautiful, but that is a good looking tank haha. Can't wait to see those stunning fish in there!

Thanks Alexa...I think the flavirostris is the last on my wanted list once this tank is up and running!

Here they are with a treat of venus clams...

Very nice tank Peter,I am sure all the fishes will be happy in their new home.
I see you have two personifiers. How are they doing ,are they a pair. What size are they.

Should be nice. What are the dimensions on the tank, what water flow are you planning, and what lighting? Will it be bare bottom and why not a thin layer of sand?

And now many more butterflies will you add?

very nice selection of fish you have!! And I agree with the upgrade it looks like your angels really needed it. good luck with the moorish idol!

Really looking forward to watching this one develop!
So what's the expected time line for the change over?
Do I sense a build thread coming along?

Not sure. Since the new tank is going into a different location, the old one will remain running. I have some new rock that has already cured for a couple months now, so hopefully just a few weeks after setting it up I'll be able to transfer the fish.

Those are actually meredithis. You can read about them here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1732583&highlight=meredithi

Is that a 8'x2'x2' 240? Nice looking tank, looks like a big single overflow?

Yup, standard 240, one overflow (two 1.5" drains). Leemar tank, stand and canopy. Same as my reef, except I got this one done in red mahogany.

Thanks, the MI has doubled in size since I bought it last year, so I'm hopeful I have a winner there!

You have a great collection of fish there....A "Butterfly Tank" is definitely on the list of tanks I would love someday.
