Before the upgrade....

Thanks. Tank is in, but there was a problem with the sump, so it needs to be remade. Slight delay, not a big deal...

I have the same stand, but stain is not as dark. I have two issues to address. Light coming from fuge because of the doors fitting inside their hole instead of outside and being larger than hole. And not enough 2x4s. Not one ran from front to back :/ aside from that LeeMar did an amazing job!!

Hey Peter what was wrong with sump if i may ask?

Too big.... wouldn't fit in the stand.

Looks great. If anything the stand matches the flooring almost too well.

The camera flash does that. The colors are not as close as they appear in the picture. The floor is more orange (Brazilian cherry) while the tank is red mahogany (basically really dark brown with a hint of red).

Yes, this design will allow light to bleed through the edges around the doors if you have any light inside the stand. I'm not sure I understand your second point... it looks like a ladder under there, with multiple 2x4's running front to back. My reef in the livingroom is the same way (also the Atlantis series, but in natural maple).

Under mine, no 2x4s connect the 2x4s in the front to the ones in the back. I'm not putting the tank on until I add some. 2,000 lbs on a few 2x4s scare the hell out of me. lol

Interesting! Yeah, that's not like either of mine at all. Are you sure the stand is made by Leemar? When was it made?

Yes it is LeeMar. I know a few people with them and they are all like this one. I'm glad to hear yours is more supported. Have any pics? I'd like to see where they added more to use as a reference.

Here are some of the front to back 2x4's.

Also, here is the center portion where the two inner doors are attached. It also looks a bit different than yours:

And one of the sides:

This pic maybe shows the difference a little better...again, everything is way more red/orange from the flash, but you get the idea :)

Yours is very similar save the front to backs. Thank you for the references. My tank is 30 tall and only 72 wide. Maybe that's the reason for the lack of 2x4s?

Sorry to hijack. Your tank looks awesome. Tagging along for sure.

No worries! Looks like you could simply squeeze in a few front to back pieces. They just have them screwed in on mine.

FWIW even the stand for my 48" x 24" x 30"tall 150g has them too.

another sweet a** tank from LeeMar. i really like the length of the tank, makes for a beautiful display.

you guys are lucky to have nearby custom tank builders.

how big is the overflow box? is that 2x 1.5" drain and an additional return hole?

are you planning any other angels besides the 2 meredithi's?

btw, how big are your meredithi and how long have you had them?

Amazing collection of fish! This new tank looks great, can't wait to see it up and running!
Can you describe your qt procedure on those BF's (size of qt, when do you begin medication etc...)?
