Their protein skimmers are bigger than mine
Thank you for sharing those pictures--amazing. Do they have one head person who oversees this and others helping? A formidable job!
Imagine putting the chainmail suits on and swimming in there--kinda scary but very cool!

Thanks for sharing! How about shots of the tanks? Any full tank shots?
What is their lighting setup like?

Why don't they call it Shark Aquarium rather than Shark Reef? Those synthetic corals are such cheesy. Color me unimpressed. This is just like everything else in Vegas, shallow and uninspired.

Most aquariums have synthetic corals, do you know the impact that aquariums would have on the population of corals if they had corals in aquariums totaling 1.6 million gallons!!!!! This is the reason why they do not have them...

If they took on the project carefully with cultured corals, the coral population impact would be approximately 0% of the world's current coral population. Who says they need 1.6 million gallons to create a magnificent aquarium anyway? I'd consider taking the trip to Vegas just to see a well cared for 500G reef. Large public displays of seemingly "aggressive" fish for spectacle and profit just rub me the wrong way.
