Thanks manBeautiful
Thanks!. That just reminded me what a great album Jetrothull's rock islandlong live Rock Island! menard, you're corals looks amazing!!!
Thanks!Amazing tank, Menard. I still need to stop by some day.
Beautiful tank! Especially after all these years. Bravo, indeed!
In your 2006 article, you said you were using a plenum..
Couple questions.. When you say plenum, do mean a true plenum, ie: a few inches of sand over a dead space of water? Or just a deep sand bed?
Also, over the past 9 years, have you done any maintenance on it?
And, have you noticed any difference in n and p levels over the years using this plenum? Have you had to use more or less p removing media?
How many fish do you have and what do you feed fish and corals (if you feed corals)
Thanks and congrats on an awesome tank and great photos!
Yes, Gyre's installed and no going back to any bulky power heads. So far so goodDid you ever put in the gyre in your tank. If so did you you put in two of them ?
Menard the tank looks great, awesome pictures and beautiful colors. I believe we met years ago when I was giving a talk for the Chicago Reef Club. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man. The set up is petty much the same thing, never touch it through out this yrs. The plenum was exactly the same as Dr. Jubert's method in Monaco aquarium. The only difference tho is.I run skimmer in my tank. N and p stays pretty low still in my target range N, locked in @ 2 and P runs between .02 to .08. Total fish in system I believed 28 swimming friends![]()
