"Benifits" of having a Professional Photographer as a father... 56K WARNING!!

Well today I started to play with my dads digital camera equipment again... It consists of:
2) SB800 Flashes
1) Nikon D70
1) AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm Lens
1) Photoshop Elements Pro

I started playing with the flash placement and found that putting one at each end pointing in the tank gives a cool FTS shot... (The Blue Tang got way scared because of all the flashing... and he was sleeping) I am also working on getting rid of the reflections on the glass

Next we have my Shrimp... This was with one flash pointing in at the end of the tank on the Left and the other one on a stool pointing at the bottom of the rock. I can not figure out what that shadow on the right is lol

Next we'll have some of my Rusty Red Zoas! I personally couldn't find anything wrong with this one except for the smudges on the glass. These grew out from a small frag I got at YR about a month ago. The flashes were on each side of it pointing in.

My last and personal favorite is my Clownfish. Both flashes on the left side of the tank pointing in. Mark, this is the same clown and original Anemone you gave to me back in December... At least I think it was December. I still have floaters in the water too and you can see them on his tail and back glass.

So just let me know what you think!

The full tank looks cool. I think you have too much light in the other shots. They look like the're getting blasted by a maglite. I think you can get some better colors by changing your lighting. Did you try to take some with just the tank lights?

With just the tank lights I use XM 20k's so they turn out MAJORLY blue... and I can not figure out how to fix it. I've played with the White Balance but I can't seem to figure it out. Got any tips?
