Best 20k metal halide bulb

What DE 250 watt metal halide bulb would you guys recommend to make the colors of my SPS "pop" the most? Right now I have current USA's 14k bulbs and they are too white for me.

Reeflux 20K. Great par and color.

Is the Reeflux really blue?

It is a little bit of a crisper blue then the Radium 20K but brightens the corals better. Not quite as deep a blue.

I like the USHIO 20K. But I can honestly say that the Pheonix 14K looks almost exactly the same.

I've got a 150 watt DE Reeflux 20K over my nano in the back of the house.

I pretty much have the same question. I have been running a Phoenix over my tank for the past year and I am wondering what bulb I could try next that will make my corals POP? It has to be 250w DE.

I'm wondering the same. I've been running the Phoenix 14ks, but I want more blue as they aren't as blue on my tank. Maybe because I use the Aquamedic magnetic HQI ballast? Par isn't a concern as I'm running dual 250w halides and 2 HO T5's on a 18" tank, I just want the best color

Hi Roushracer, I am running the same pendent as you and I also have a 19 inch high tank so the par is not an issue. The AquaMedic HQI overdrive the bulbs then I guess, so the Phoenix bulbs will be brighter and less blue. I am still hunting for more POP in my corals.
