Best 250 DE reflector to light 30x30x30 tank?

I have DE hqi bulbs and Sunlight Ballast HQI. I want something that has great spread.

I was looking at:
LumenMax 3
LumenMax Elite

Any thoughts?

I have a lumenmax 3 with the ss ballast. The horizontal spread is wide enough for my 40 breeder. I would say you should be okay. There might be a bit of dimming at the edges but I doubt you'll have rock touching the glass anyway.

Go with Hamilton Cayman Sun 250 watt DE reflector. They are REALLY bright.

I tested the Cayman against the LM3 with an Apogee Par meter - PHX 250 bulb, same ballast - and the Cayman puts off higher PAR ratings than the Lumen Max 3.

Hamilton and SLS use the same quick disconnect plug so your ballast should plug right into the Cayman Sun.

one Trying to cut cost of the system. I keeping mostly zoa so dont need too much light.

You can go with a mogul Radium bulb and still go HQI! The Hamilton Cozumel is a 20 x 20 fixture made with an amazing reflector.
