Here's the description of Fuel. It's basically Amino acid and more.

fuelâ„¢ is a comprehensive carbohydrate, vitamin, amino acid, polyunsaturated fatty acid, and trace element supplement developed to address nutritional requirements commonly associated with corals. fuelâ„¢ contains ascorbic acid in a base of chlorella, which contains a rich assortment of amino acids and vitamins. The health benefits of chlorella are widely known and while spirulina, a similar algae, has been regularly used in the industry, aquavitroâ„¢ is the first to utilize the vastly superior chlorella. fuelâ„¢ is formulated to provide nutrients available from natural tropical reef waters.

I'm restarting a mixed 227 gal reef tank with AI LEDS (1st generation) for the light source. Purchased the "Kit" from Marine Depot and have seen some perkiness with the LPS, the SPS nothing yet... its only been a week

I have used it and still use a similar product. I got increased growth and some color.

I am running the zeovit method as well. I am running a 60 gal cube with an AI Sol Blue. Biomate for me was really impressive. I noticed a cleaner tank and increased growth rates after consistently dosing 2 drops twice weekly. I also dose kz amino acids, the corals seem fuller. Best way for me to describe it. I started dosing b balance and jod complex to bring out the reds and blues. My red planet seems to be getting more red and blue milli is changing from a pale blue to a slightly darker blue. Stable water parameters has always had an positive effect on coral colors as well. Lighting is also a huge factor. I like leds because you can change the intesity to suit your tanks needs. A hard thing for me to do when i ran mh over it. It was all or nothing. I did notice once I made the change to zeo my orange monti got paler. No additives have made a change on it. I personally like the color it changed to. I have dove many places around the world from Asia to Hawaii to the caribean, and it is hard to tell what the correct color of the corals should be with the dominance of blue when you are under the water. Most coral reefs are not 12 or so inches under the water surface, like most reef tanks. The color you should be looking for is what is most appealing to your eyes. For me I am not trying to replicate nature to the T, but rather provide a healthy environment for the live stock and get the colors I find appealing. All methods work if you keep it balanced and monitor the result of each product. You can manipulate most colors to suit what looks best for you. Kz products have provided me with the tools to do that. Hope this helps.

3.99aftertaxes - what algae issues are you having. I was having a few issues as well. I finally found out what I think was my cause. I believe my rock had some stored up PO4 in it that the algae was using. My water column had no measurable PO4 which led me to that conclusion. So far I am letting the zeo system mature and from my observations it has been helping. The PO4 is slowing getting used up. This is what I think is going on. I had some bryopsis and Kent tech m solved that. Now I just have a few spot of what I think is some form of hair algae that is slowly disappearing. I tried mixing zeozym with biomate and it did nothing.
