I have been growing ulva, gracilaria, codium, fern caulerpa, prolifera caulerpa, lentifolia grape caulerpa, dictoya, and a few other species of algae. The goal was to have a sustainable food source for when I get either a tomini, a kole or a scopas tang. Is it over kill to try to grow this many types? I was thinking of reducing it to ulva, lentifolia, and gracilaria. Along with prepared foods would these 3 be enough to keep tangs happy and healthy? Should I continue on adding species of algae making my grow out tank look like a spring mix salad?
