best ich medication

I have not had to do anything like this in a long time. Tank Transfer is probably the least amount of excess stress on fish. Since you can try to do it with no or minimal meds.
Of course if you don't have enough tanks (preferably smaller ones like 10's & 20's to switch to it can be difficult.)

But research hyposalinity. It'll be a process over a few days taking water out and adding fresh water(not salt mix) bring it down 2 - 3pts per day till you get to 1.010 salinity.
It has a good affect on the parasite. Don't lower the salinity too fast. But once your down there to 1.010 it should knock out most of the ich.

You can also use in combination with that- the meds.
Copper is probably the strongest. Formalin based products like kick Ich and "quick cure" work pretty good too.

But watch the water conditions as well. Test for ammonia regularly. As you may have to perform water changes more often so the fish are not poisoned there. The one thing about treating in a QT, your not going to have a bio filter and No carbon either. So, you have to freshen the water more so it's safe. Just test it throughout your treatment regimen daily. Change some out before ammonia/nitrates get too high. Even if the fish seem all better at some point, remember, you have to still leave them out of the main display for the full 8 weeks.
