best macro algae for desjardini tangs

Was wanting to set up a refugium and was wondering what macro is best to feed my tangs

I guess what I'm asking is advantages or disadvantages to differant types thank you for any info

I would say that chaeto is best for filtration purposes. But in my experience the best type of macros to feed fish are: most types of caulerpa as well as ulva

My Yellw Tangs leap tall rocks to eat Caulerpa Paspoides(feather). Patrick

I use red gracilaria and dragon's tongue halymenia, tangs will tear both of them up. Love them!
