Ultimate Reefer
I have been very happy with my salifert. It gives resolution down to .5 or so if i remember right.
salifert for me.
I use salifert and although there may be better, all that I care about is clear, or barely blue.
Salifert and red sea have been good to me over the last few years.. Mostly Salifert just started trying the red Sea and I like it.. Matches up to Salifert so that's good enough for me.. And it's cheaper in the long run due to being able to buy the refills.. That I haven't had the need to yet..
I have used saliferts for a long time. It's really easy to read the low range (view from the side) test. Basically i can see .2 and 0 pretty easy and I am partially colorblind. Someone suggested the seachem nitrates kit since I started dosing vinegar and it does not work as well for color changing in the low range as the saliferts in my opinion. Kinda feel like I wasted that 15 bucks.
What is the digital on pictures above? How much and how accurate is it?
A+ to the Salifert.
I used a whole Salifert kit many months back when my tank had like 30ppm+ nitrates.
Salifert is very easy to see when you reach 0.2ppm. I saw my tanks reading come down and down. Now whenever I test it, its around 0.2ppm.
