best online stores for livestock

im looking for the lowest price online stores with the best dependability (shipping and service, etc)...im primarily looking to stock up on my tank and add livestock (inverts and fish and maybe corals down the road).

i know there is liveaquaria, but i found that quite expensive..anything else?

well i have used live aquaria (divers den section), phishy business, petsolutions and saltwaterfish and i have had good overall luck with them all..iam gonna try the standard stock of liveaquaria in the near future

a lot of them are pretty similar, but LA diver's den has got to be the standout. They have a lot of regular to more exotic fare, and with great health.

saltwaterfish.com is about as cheap as you can find. Never used them (or any other vendor) for livestock, though.

through the years I keep going back to liveaquaria. Recently I did an order with vivid aquariums and was very impressed I'll be doing some more coral purchases from them.

Just keep in mind if you start looking for cheap, you start risking running into not only not so healthy livestock, but shoddy customer service when something goes wrong as well. It sometimes is better to pay a little more to be in good hands. You can check out the Vendor Experiences forum to see others experiences with various dealers.

Liveaquaria is one of the gold standards in the business. I've ordered from their regular catalog several times now, and while I've received a couple DOAs I attribute it to no fault of their own (I live in a very rural area and shipping here seems tough no matter who does it), they've always came in thick styrofoam coolers packed to the brim with peanuts and plenty of heat or cool packs. The couple times I've had problems their customer service has been right on the ball, getting a reply back to me within hours and refunding me right away. Everything else has come to me very healthy.

I've heard nothing but good things about their Divers Den section. There are many other great vendors in the business, just do your research before hand! (If they're a sponsor of RC you can scroll down to their forum on RC and read a few threads to get an idea of others peoples experiences with them as well).

Blue Zoo is great. Ordered twice from them and everything came well packaged with great acclamation instructions. They also include a sample of their Blue Zoo Mix. After waiting about 6 hours I fed the fish with the mix and all started eating.
