Even though my current Skimmer is only a year and a half old, I'm looking to upgrade & over skim, given the huge bio-load on my 120-gallon system.

The physical sump envelope measures:
9 ½" Wide
14 3/8" Long
7 1/2" Deep

What is the BEST Protein Skimmer?
Why?

Height restrictions: (*)
24" at the Low end
36" at the High end (of the 9 1/2" W x 14 3/8" L footprint)

(*) - Reason being: I converted the adjacent Laundry Room Closet (under a set of Stairs) into a "œSUMP Room" by blowing out the back of the closet. The Sump Closet now contains all the "œgoodies" that typically would go Under a normal installation. Presently, there's only a Closed Loop pump under my tank. Everything else is here, but the stairs minimize my (deep in the closet) Vertical clearance.

yea, both my tanks back up to the kitchen so if id did anything like that it would be fish for supper!!!!!
