Just Clarifying, I meant what is like the coolest or what you would put in a 300
Oh, I would choose the brownbanded bamboo shark which you DON'T have on your list.

well i picked epaulette but personaly i love the guitar shark i think they are mega cool and wild lookin so that would be my choice

I would do some reaserch and get the shark thats most suited for your experiance ,tank set up and ability to keep long term . Not go with the shark that is the "coolest ". keeping sharks is not about being popular because you have the shark that everybody else wants .

I agree they are awesome but they grow to 9 feet long which would definetly be a problem in an 8 foot tank
Not to start another flame war but I don't think it's possible for a leopard to grow up to 9ft. 7ft max.

They do grow up to 9 feet in the wild I said nothing about growing them in captivity there.

Also, what experience do you have in saltwater (JW)

Sorry bro, but 7 ft max in the wild and they typically don't even reach 6 ft in captivity. Still completely inappropriate for a 300 gallon but I've never seen or read of a 9 ft Leopard shark (Triakis semifasciata) unless you are referring to a Zebra shark (Stegostoma fasciatum) often mistakenly called a Leopard shark... If so, then Zebra sharks can actually get nearly 12ft although 10ft and under are more common.

Great dimensions, my vote would be for an epaulette, but I don't think sharks would be good for a beginner to the hobby... Are you planning on diving right into Sharks without any previous experience in salt water?
