Yes I am but its not like Im must some bum on the streets that likes sharks. I am very experienced with sharks in their natural habitat. I know that it will be challenging.

Natual habitat takes care of it's self, I don't think that counts as experience... Please consider other fish when you setup your 300 before you get a shark at least until you get your feet wet.

Ill post pics.
If I fail then you can say you told me so.

too bad a shark will have to die for that to happen.

Maybe you guys are just too jealous because you have to play it safe and play with damsels and clownfish until you are ready to try something real.

Jealousy has nothing to do with it, some people on RC actually care about their fish, there not just a trophy to them. I thinbk you will be a little dissappointed with your sharks as they sleep and hide almost all day and come out when the lights are off. They are not as "cool" as most people think. They are very messy and you must hand feed them at every meal as they have a hard time finding food and the other fish will eat their food before the sharks can get it. Also you are very limited with the other fish you can put into the tank with them. I agree with the others that sharks are not for newbies. Why dont you set the tank up with sharks in mind but dont put any in for the first year or two as you learn more about the hobby, then get your shark.

I think I speek for a few people when I say jeliousness has nothing to do with it . After all we have large sucsseful tanks already ;)

Unfortunatly guys this attitude is all to common anymore . We could blame their age but adults that are entering this hobby are having the same attitude. Nobody wants to listen to experience anymore . The way I see it is if they don't want to take advice then we should just stop trying to help. Let them take the advice of the other know it alls and when there tanks fail (and they will) Then they can't blame anybody but them selves .

Just my 2 pennies worth

Why would you want to kill a fish. Sharks are one of natures COOLEST Animals. I've wanted one for about 6 months now but I don't have Any experience with them so there for I Need to read, read, and read some more about them. Then find some who has then and then Ask questions, Ask questions and Ask questions. Then maybe I could get one.

you know with the money i have spent on my 125 reef i could have a 600gal fish only tank easy. i didn't because sharks get boring. one fish that is mostly nocturnal and all that space for one fish. not much to look at. tell me how easy it is to grow some acro's and keep 20 different species of coral healthy and growing and then tell me about playing it safe. what a joke.

Let me just put in conclusion that it's just everyone's opinion on everything. Everyone is different :)

i agree totally. I have no problem with sharks in a home aquarium when it is done right, i just wanted something different for myself.
What i do have a problem with is somebody who has zero experience trying to tell me I'm jealous of a set up I wouldn't have in my house and trying to do something that will most likley end up killing a shark.
