Best top off unit for the money??

What would the best (reliable and cost efficient) system be to auto top off water to my reef tank located on the first floor from a water storage tank in the basement (roughly 15 feet away and up 6 feet.) I have been using the Aqua Medic SP 3000 but it seems that the tubing doesn't last long when you run it 24/7. I'm debating on alternatives if I can find one that will be easier and more cost efficient in the long run. I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars nor do I have great plumbing skills.

Any ideas?? What do YOU use?? Thanks for the input!!

I don't have any real experience with these, but I've been looking into them myself and the Tunze Osmolator looks pretty good. It's a bit more expensive, but it comes with some nice stuff and looks to be pretty reliable.

Reef Fanatic Level Controller w/2 Float Switches

I use a Reef Fanatic Level Controller w/2 Float Switches which can be found on premiumaquatics.com for $89.90. It has worked flawlessly for the last 1.5 years.

Remember to unplug it when you do water change, then to plug it back in afterwards.

I know its more than you probably want to spend but the LiterMeter III is probably the best piece of equipment I've bought in my 20 plus years in the hobby.

Just took a look in person at a level lock (a sponsor here on reefcentral) and really want to get one, very nice design and redundant safeties!!
