Best underwater stickem

What is the best or most available glue to use to stick frag plugs and disks to rock underwater? I am hoping there is a safe (and readily available, lowes, home depot, etc.) putty or glue that allows you to move things around if needed. Super glue just doesn't work well for this purpose.

Super glue gel is what I use, just glue the frag to a small disc or pebble outside the tank then put a bunch of glue on the disc and stick it in the tank, hold for 30 seconds and you set. They do sometimes come loose but no very often. You can do the same thing skipping the small disc with a frag and a few weeks it should be encrusted on the rock itself.

I use the same thing. Only have problems with corals that like to slime over big-time while being glued.

I would suggest velcro...

j/k :D

I use super glue gel also, but it will not be easily moveable. A cool way to do it is use small plastic pegs to attatch your corals to. Those pegs can then be pushed into holes or cracks in your live rock.

OK, I will try the Super Glue Gel again.

When you try it again dont be afraid to glob it onto your rock or what ever you are putting the frag onto. Also, dab the frag onto a towel immediately before you stick it into the glue. And on sps frags, try to get glue onto the bare skeleton where you cut the frag. This does a couple things, it allows the glue to bond well to the skeleton and it also seals the cut up so algae does not take hold on it so easily.

Most of my rocks are intertwined with each other, so it will be hard to pull them out to put glue on them. I was hoping there was a silly putty type of solution that was safe and sticky. ;0)

There are a couple of the putty types that I have used with success. The last i used was this epoxy . I liked it pretty well.

For smaller frags I put the glue on my corals outside of the tank and hold it for 20 seconds or so and let the glue start to set up. I then put it on the rocks, hold it till I am sick of it, and hope for the best.
