Best Way to Acclimate Macro Algae/Marine Plants?

Would love to hear what you feel is the best way to acclimate newly arrived (mail order) macro algae/marine plants to our reef systems. :)

I've never acclimated macro algae. I check it for pests, maybe dip it in coral dip mixed with saltwater (not fresh) & put it in the tank.

Yeah, i never have either. But someone mentioned light acclimation in another thread of mine and it got me thinking/wondering. :)

I don't know about macroalgae or any saltwater 'plants', but I've never acclimated saltwater plants. If there's a temp difference between the car and my room, I give them a minute or two in an open bag to adjust a bit, then I just put them right in.
Now, if I saw critters on there I wanted to keep, I'd probably acclimate.

here's how I do it:
1. open transport bag
2. grab and toss macro(s) into sump
3. wash and/or dry hands
4. open beer
5. stare at tank
