Best way to catch fish???

So I'm trying to catch my purple psudocromis and he is hard to get. Any suggestions to a easy way to get him? With out removing my rock and everything??? I have two nets I'm trying to corner him with then scoop him but way easier said than done...
Any one have any trades for him once he's out? coral frag or something? :frog:If not I'm trading him in when I catch him, hopefully tonight.

In small tank I could wait til 2 am and catch the fish by hand. Even with a bright flashlight they are very disoriented.

people resort to this tactic sometimes for real lol..a small barbless hook and some shrimp..might work lol on a fish that small,I don't think it would though..

i got a sixline wrasse out just a few weeks ago. i used a 20oz plastic bottle, cut the top off and flipped it around. put some food in the bottom, and in 2 minutes all 3 of my fish were trapped in there. i had fish line tied to it so i pulled up on that got the fish out all without injury

Ill tell you the secret to catching small fish....................





Their isn't one. Everyone has a "trick" but it doesn't work for everyone/fish/tank.

The real trick is patience. Try try try try until ur successful. Use multiple nets and block off portions of the tank. Chase him around and get and idea of his escape routes and block them off. U will win.
