Okay, i just bought a JBJ Arctica Chiller 1/4HP and i don't know where to plumb it in to. As my systems is a multi tank setup...where i drew up a diagram to help my description below.

I have two return pumps...one goes to the 75G Reef & the other to the 55G Xenia. The flow rate to each pump are not the same. The Pump to the 75G Reef is a Rio Plus 1700 642gph and the pump to the 55G Xenia is a Rio Plus 2100 692gph.

The 55G Xenia flows down to two directions...
1 - to the bottom 55G down, then that to the Sump. (flow is stronger)
2 - and an auxiliary in to the 75G Reef. (flow is weaker or none at all.)

By the diagram above you can notice that the two 55Gs are add-ons to my old system. The hottest tanks to the system are the 75G Reef between 80 to 87 degrees F and the 55G Xenia between 80 to 84 degrees F.

So my problem lies on where i should plumb the Chiller's IN & OUT to?

Please help! Since i never had to use a Chiller before...i don't know how or what to expect on how it works. I read threads and the idea i had to plumb it wouldn't work with the set up i have. I would amazingly greatly appreciate your assistance!

IMO? So strait to the 75G with the Rio Plus 1700 642gph. Should i increase flow? I do have extra pumps, my Over Flow Box can handle more flow, if necessary. And i read this some place on the web that is it also necessary to have filtered water flow in to the Chiller before back in to the system?

I use a dedicated pump that is at the discharge of the skimmer and the chiller discharge is by the return to display tank suction. I put the chiller temp probe by the display tank overflow line.

i ran mine off its own pump so I'd have more control over it but most likely anywhere in the system will get the job done.

Just as a word of caution don't over tighten the JBJ hose connectors because atleast on my 1/3 horse model they snap off rather easy

I can't put it directly near the out up of the Skimmer as the out to that is in the Algae Tumbler. Also I have three display tanks. So most of you suggest the larger one, which is the 75G Reef. Since i assume its because it's the hottest from all, correct? I can plumb two Eheim 2217s and a pump to fulfill the filtered water part & flow to the Chiller. I know a Canister is not recommended for a Reef, however, not all my tanks are Reefs one large part is a Species only tank for two large Mantis Shrimps. Where my options are not so abundant for intake to Chiller options...never thought i was going to need a Chiller :(
