Hi guys,

I have a Cisco WVC80N internet Video Cam. If I run IE9 I get only a live snapshot on the screen at my Neptune page. If I run Safari I get a constant live feed of the cideo camera. What I am doing wrong in IE9 that I cant get a live video feed but only a snapshot. If I hit refresh then a get an update of the image.????

There is nothing you are doing wrong in IE. I have the same issue. Seems that IE cannot stream MJPEG. You will get the first frame of the stream and that will be it. Only recourse to date is what you have done and use a different browser.

The remote URL works fine in FF and Chrome. It will not work with IE - IE does not support the MJPEG streams of this camera. (if IE works for you when you view the full camera web page, it's because you installed a helper plugin for IE when you installed the camera setup software)

Russ is correct. I cannot get a stream with IE9, but I can stream if I use the Linksys software to view that comes with the camera. So far I have not been able to find a way (not that I am trying that hard, nor do I have the amount of Geekness needed to do it ;O) to integrate the plugin into the Apex dashboard so it will stream.
