the URL sends me to my camera but they can also click on my Setup and mess around with my IP address and such.

They would need to login to do that.

If I use this one I can get an image but no streaming. What camera URL are you using? Let me try it on a test system here. If it's not a valid videostream URL maybe it doesn't save.
edit: I tried a completely bogus URL and it saved it just fine on my test system (Chrome, Win7).
Made a little progress with the Trendnet TV-IP672WI
Suggestion: Clicking on the time and date time prompts to sync date and time?
Okay, So I have found a glitch. For the second time after adding the tile for my webcam they webcam works. But then the next time I go to refresh the webpages, the entire Apex home page defaults and I lose all my tiles settings.
I am using an Axis 214 camera the Axis access is
- http://74.62.193.110/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?camera=&resolution=640x480
This is a wee bit frustrating. It did this the other day when I added the webcam. I reset my tiles and it ran great for the last few days. This evening I went to add the webcam and as soon as I refresh everything reverts.

If the Apex is internet connected then it will sync to an internet time standard (same as a PC). Can you elaborate more on your suggestion?
Sure can.
My apex dosen't always keep time second for second with my computer, cellphone, etc.
I would like the ability to click on the time tile and it prompt for me to sync it with the desktop computer time. Just like it does in the apex iphone app.
If there is a feature to auto do this then ignore me, please inform me how to turn it on.
Under "Clock setup", the top option (Auto clock set), when enabled will cause the Apex to sync with an internet clock standard. Most PCs today use the same method to sync time so if it is enabled the clocks should be very close.
What is the filename of the firmware you downloaded? It should be apexflash_4_20BD12.dmg. If you downloaded something else, go here and download the right fileNot sure what I'm doing wrong...I have updated both firmware and web pages, cleared browser cache and cookies. I get the same webpage as before??
