Pic of the ningaloos, bit hard to get them with the exposure as their directly front row of my tank

How often do you change water or the reactor does it all

Hey mate, i usually drain the frag tank and change that water weekly, the frag tank holds just under 200l, however ive been a bit lazy the last couple months :P

Thanks so much and happy new year! Don't mind that bubble algae one bit. I have it in my tank as well haha. It is the first time I see ningaloos. We get the usual derasa, crocea, maxima here. Ningaloos look like they can give the other clams run for their money.

Happy new to you too!
Yeh they come in plenty of shades of purple with gold and blue tips. Some can look quite amazing, bit hard to compete with the unreel colours displayed by the croceas maximas etc. squamosa's are another relatively common clam over here, may look to add one and another nice maxima to the collection :p

So nice! I love clams. Yours are super nice.
They have become very expensive around here in the past few years.

I think someone said it was time for some new pics Brok ;) lol Don't be shy with that bloody glorious tank of yours!!
How are the fish going? What's your list looking like at the moment mate :)

haha gday dom! sorry mate been away for work so havent been able to fulfill your request until now! fish list is a bit diminished at the moment as a few very very silly (lets say laziness on my behalf) resulted in some dramas.

First case of laziness.... my overflow cage on my frag tank wasnt up to scratch. The overflow comb had a few teeth but was pretty non existant. this resulted in my lennardis going for a bit of a waterfall run down to the overflow box... no dramas i figured so i would just fish them out. One day i get a call saying my frag tank was overflowing... thinking my missus was just over-reacting and some water was leaking from somwhere i cruised home. The tank had been overflowing but i couldnt figure out why.... turns out BOTH lennardi swam up my plumbing and had got stuck! (as they bury pretty often i was unsure in they were in the sand or what not). Long story short they made their way to the skimmer before i could figure out what was happening..... one died on scene, they other lasted and was eating for another week or so before karking it.

Second misshap, ordered three pitcilus anthias that got delayed in shipping by two days :O they arrived alive but broke out with all sorts of stress and ended up passing also.... sooooooo current fish list is rather depleted but off the top of my head:

Majestic angel
yellow tail tamarin
Choati wrasse
2 x cleaner wrasse = one jumped in to the overflow, so i went and brought another one, they he jumped back! >:(
3 x dispar
6 x golden cardianls
Yellow eyed kole
Convict tang
Yellow foxface

very nice reef, what is your bulb combo if you dont mind?

Thanks mate!
