Matt, please don't upset Andrew.
We all know his corals are very slow growing as I have pointed out. Don't need to rub it in. :uhoh3::love1:
Nice photos - by the way, it's clear and bright.
In the United States, we would call them Growth Challenged Corals. So as not to hurt their feelings.
Marty
To be honest i used to use it for nutrient control before some aussie bloke stumbled upon the effectiveness of matrix and siporax! since then ive just been plotting along not changing too much. i only dose 0.5ml twice a day via dosing pump so i dont think itl have any drastic effects within a 1000L system.
Thanks mate
Haha poor andrew copping it left right and centre!
Cheers Kev
Perhaps all this talk about Andrews growth got back to his corals which therefore stumped their growth due to hurt feelings? vicious cycle really isnt it..
Considering that in all the years i've been on RC i can't remember once, ever having made fun of a fellow reefer i'm a tad surprised to be picked on by the RC rat pack............ :sad1:
You guys are like nasty bull ants attacking a helpless butterfly. I remember when i shoved a stick in a bull ants nest when i was 9 or 10 and a few of them bit me. I didn't retaliate, i just thought ' well i had that coming '
Then i went home and got dad's tin of mower fuel and a box of matches........
Looking nice Brok!
Did that white and purple one have orange polyps?
Awesome pics Brok, acros all look beautifully colored mate and growing like weeds
That little echi is looking a tad washed out lol, i'm sure it won't a month from now with your care. Is that a deep pink milli or a red one, it looks saturated pink to me from your pic. Looks awesome even if it grows over everything.
Cheers Andrew! Yeh the poor little echis seen better days, looks like its recovering slowly. The milli i think your reffering to is a red milli with orangey scales, its turned to more of a dark pink pigment recently so i look forward to getting it back to its more red self. I have two mini colonies of it an this is the larger one, the smaller one is lower down in the tank and seems to retain its orangey scales so too much light might be playing a part there.
Mind you, i just pretend i know what im talking about and blame everything on the light
Brok, I know a Bloke just like you. He once blamed it on lack of vitamins.

Hey ! I put a lot more thought and effort into my vitamin excuse than bloody Brok did with his lamo light excuse Marty. I have flair
The shaded pinky red milli looks way prettier in the pic than the one copping the brunt of light above it Brok. The light dark pigment contrast between the two is cool though
Haha you certainly put alot more thought in, and were certainly thankful for that! i wouldnt be any good at that, if everyone followed my lead weld just end up with a bunch of blokes that keep making excuses all the time. haha the pink shaded one is just a normal pink milli, top one copping the brunt of the light is the same as this one:
Awesome mate!
