Big DC pump

My guess is the ones from Fishstreet are not made for the US market? The power converter with the ones just shipped come with 120v->24v converter.

Here is pic of my DC12000

Would you mind doing an update once you have it running? Any insight with information with those pumps would be very helpful. Like how loud, heat, power pushing water, ect....

Thank You,
Mace

Be happy to, 1st one will be for closed loop, and hopefully 2nd will be return pump

Thanks close loop is what I am looking at them for but I can't find them on FishStreet only up to 10000l. I emailed them to find your pump but haven't heard back yet. Looking forward to your review:)

Vinny
I emailed them regarding warranty and they confirmed 1 year.
I wouldn't have bought as well if it was only 2 months, considering it's a brand new and unproven model.

Aquatron
gen2

Wonder if they are GEN 1 OR 2?

I was told that based on the model #s of 6000, 9000 &12000... These are all gen2... Originals were 5000, 8000 & 10000

I was lucky to know a guy that was in China on other business and made the connection, to be able to get a case of these new pumps... but it was done as a favor, and at present he is not interested in doing a group buy. He has seen this thread and maybe he will comment.
I believe there are 5 of us in NY and Ct that will be trying these pumps

Here is the link Ron. I've ordered my dc12000 today.
I had a positive transaction experience with their rep as well.

Thanks for the link. I noticed that the box doesn't say anything about submersible and/or external, but the discription by the vendor does say:
Operation
1. The pump can be used indoor or outdoor, for underwater only.

I was looking to use it in a closed loop as an external pump. Does anybody have one of these and do the instructions (assuming it's not all in Chinese) say one way or the other? For $125 delivered, I'm inclined to go for one.

Ron, I think shipping is in the neighborhood of $90 on top of $125 for the pump. I had the same reaction when I first looked at it.

They made several key changes to the Gen 2 pumps like cooling fins, better plug, micro chip is in controller now in lieu of pump, better seals for inline install, new propeller design for better pressure flow. Just looking at the picture this pump has no cooling fins?
I guess more research....lol

Ron, im running the dc-12000 and while it does say for underwater use only they are A ok to run external as per Jabeo Customer Service, Heres a quick video showing one running on my tank. these things are beasts. and check out fish street, much better deal and free 3 day shipping

Thanks for the info Dukester. I haven't looked at Fish Street in a while. Glad to see they now have the DC12000 rather than the DC10000. And a better price than aliexpress and almost 2/3rds less for shipping.

I used to sped some time across the river from you. I had a friend who I flew airplanes with that lived in Port Huron when I was living NW of Detroit. But that was a long, long time ago!
