Big FOWLR tanks

"Your Tusk and Lunarre Wrasse don't fight? I really like Tusk's and wanted to get one, but have never considered it b/c I always thought it would fight with my Lunare Wrasse....

What order did you add your fish?"

The Lunar was the first fish in, I had him for about 1 1/2 years befor the Husk, when I added the Husk into my old 180 gallon the Lunar harassed him for about 2-3 days straight none stop, then he finally gave up and haven't any real issues since then and that was 2 years now.

Its not too big but here are some pics of my old 300g tall tank before I traded it for a 600g. I did not have any big fish but rather about 30-35 small to medium size fish.

I've been waiting for capt insano to chime in. One of my favorite tanks and I'm a reef guy. Love the fake corals.

those are very nice tanks marrone. I found a 180 today that I'm going to get this summer. any ideas of how to aquascape it.
James.

I like the way cmulawka & Big Red have their tank, which is like mine, where there is rock on the bottom which creates hiding spaces for the fish but leave the rest of the tank open for swimming space. It lets you have more fish and leave a lot of swiming space and really shows off those large fish. Also makes the tank look as big as it is.

I've also found that with that open space when fish are feeding if one is frighten or chased away it doesn't spook or bother the other fish and the tank seems more peaciful.

yeah...he is getting big! Still has some growing left to do though, I'm sure. I have had him 5 years now

we went with MH because we like the glitter lines - they are all fake corals

Cap the big puff must pop clams like grapes! Any dentiton issues with the big guy, or does he keep his teeth in check?

he really keeps his teeth wittled down on the LR. there are always big gouges out of the rock and large scrapes on the rocks surface.....

I have seen him literally bite chunks out of the LR. I once dropped a razor blade in there while I was cleaning and before I could get the grabbers to pull it out, he had gone over and bit it. Luckily he bit the non-sharp side, but he nearly folded the blade in two
