i was just in Kona over christmas. the captian cook monument was a sweet place to snorkel saw lots of neat things. there is also a beach... i cant remember the name ... that has surfboard lessons and rentals not far from the monument as well that had good snorkeling. loved it there its such a nice place

I'd go snorkel there, even with my Advanced Certification. Though Scuba would be (acck! I hate this word!) Awesome!
