Big news for angelfish fans of RCT

My not telling is not my choice... again I'm a man of my word... I nudged Frank when I was in Hawaii last to let out the news that he had angelfish again at least, and started this thread... :spin3: And as I said it's an exciting time... captive raised flame angels will be available very soon from my other friends... when's the last time captive bred angels were available from two outlets? Let me think... never! :celeb1:

Copps

No problem. I salute your integrity. I'm just excited that there will be some CB angels available. Now I'm thinking maybe I ought to reserve my new SW tank, once it finishes cycling, for a dwarf angel. Do you think any of the species about to make their debut would live happily in a 50G? :)

genicanthus personatus is already captive breed in waikiki aquarium once...so that won't be new...
cost a lot dwarf angelfish not raised before includes hotomatua and peppermint and nahacki...
i think this new fish is not angelfish..

learn something new everyday :reading:

a conspic would be just as nice!

Looks like their new angels will debut in December. That gives my new system time to finish cycling, if anything on the upcoming species list strikes my fancy and looks affordable...

Argghhhh I will be in Ranger School when RCT finally has fish for sale....bummer.
Im hoping to one day get a pair of CB Nahacki or any Nahacki for that matter. It irritates me wife that I would spend a house payment on a pair of those beauties.

Check out these guys, they just arrived at Blue Harbor in Japan, I figured they are captive bred too given the size, or could they be wild?

I have noticed from previous RCT specimens that the blue spotting on the captive bred shows much earlier than the wild specimens, any reasoning to that?
