Big news for angelfish fans of RCT

I'm glad to see Frank is back at it. It has been a while and I missed out when he was in production before. It will be exciting to see what come out. I will definitely make sure to be ready this time.

True John, I should be happy. Hopefully Frank will change his mind on the Interruptus and Resplendens. Btw, nice Argi's!!

Come on guys... this is a time to be happy as an angelfish fan! Frank's fired back up, and I have some more friends that have successfully bred angelfish that will be available in much greater numbers... they've successfully bred flame angels that should be for sale soon... :) Reminds me of late 2001 when three people indepentantly captively spawned and raised angels within a few months! Let's be happy with what's coming guys!!!

Congrats again to Frank for notching another first on the Centropyge argi... and last week I got these little girsl... welcome to the continental US ladies!:celeb1:

Agreed, this is great news. Congrats on your new acquisitions! I do wish they were going to keep breeding those gorgeous argi, as I'd love to do an all-aquacultured Caribbean tank featuring a pair or harem...but I'm just glad to see RCT back in production, and receiving such an enthusiastic response. Do you have any idea which species they might be offering, and where they might be available online? I don't expect that any of the stores in my neck of the woods would be stocking them.

That is a good point. Is anyone aware of the distribution channels he's planning on? I assumed direct from his website like in the past and never considered the possibility that he'd sell through wholesalers and LFS.

can i have one of those angels PPPPLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEE or you get this (insert gunfire smiley) i don't know how to insert smileys.

:bounce1: Really hoping for Centropyge debelius and C. Joculator

I'll say this... what Frank has coming has never been done before... :)

My not telling is not my choice... again I'm a man of my word... I nudged Frank when I was in Hawaii last to let out the news that he had angelfish again at least, and started this thread... :spin3: And as I said it's an exciting time... captive raised flame angels will be available very soon from my other friends... when's the last time captive bred angels were available from two outlets? Let me think... never! :celeb1:

C. hotumatua? Or, has he bred those before? Hmm, I wonder if it's some large, Hawaiian endemic angelfish?

bring on Genicanthus personatus :lmao:

no serious that would be legendary.

genicanthus personatus is already captive breed in waikiki aquarium once...so that won't be new...
cost a lot dwarf angelfish not raised before includes hotomatua and peppermint and nahacki...
i think this new fish is not angelfish..
