Big problem with clownfish now!

Icefire

Seasoned reefer
Well my 1.5 yrs old clowns have a serious problem, they look blind....

A few days ago, they were floating on their side, looking normal but sometime they would spin once in a while like if it was a vortex.

They can be taken by hand, they dont seems to feed, try try sometime..

Now the male is rooming the tank, like a shark (head going right to left, same with tale) and bump in everything.

Female stay near the surface, smooth but bump in things too if scared.

Any clue?

They look good, no stress signs

Water quality is good, 1.026, alk 9, Ca 460, Mg 1500, all other 0.

The only thing I can see is I added a pearl bubble coral, but I doutb it could have stung them that much, it's the same familly as euphilya

It is possible that they have gone blind, in which case the eventual outcome will be death. What have you been feeding the fish? Have they shown any other signs of stress?

You might consider euthanasing them if they don't get any better and leaving your fish tank empty (as in no fish) for at least 8 weeks.

Get them out, treat with a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It could be parasites, brook, velvet, poisons. Did you spray anything near the tank?
just curous, but why do you have mollies in a reef tank?

Antibiotics will not treat parasites.

Parasites can cause blindness. Meds like Prazi Pro and Fenbendazole might be a better choice if it is parasites. Can't use it in a display you will need a hospital tank.

Skimmer working good, no ammonia.

All my other fish are doing really good, only affecting the clown

Did some tests today, all is fine chemically.

Both clown still weird, male often get his head out of water, but breath regulary and normal, I have a skimmer and good O2 in the sump so he can't have problem with O2.

All other are doing well...
