Biggest Dang Bristleworm EVER!

do what you want, it's your rock, but I don't think that a quick dip is going to hurt the rock, unless you have live sponges on it.

if i were you....i would catch the worm and sell him for the big bucks$$$$$ take a cloth bag with a tie on the end(like a crown royal bag, but thin and white.

put a big pile of food inside of it, then put it in another bag, so that the open part of that bag, is on the bottom of that bag, keep doing this until the worm will have to travel through1-2 feet of baggage to get the food. (make sure it is a big enticing meal)

than pull on the final string, which you have enlarged and hung outside the tank, put him in a small 10 gallon(or small, but saying its a ten gallon so he looks bigger) and post him for sale.

i've seen big worms catch 50+$ on other forums

who would want one?!

I would. I wouldnt pay for it or anything, but I would pay for shipping and or maybe trade a frag or two for it

is this guy really 2" WIDE? I want him bad if so. I have some pics of some 2+ footers my predator tank used to create.....but they are only as big around as my middle finger. 2" wide is impressive for sure.....almost sounds like a fish story. I know...Im a fisherman. ;)

If it is just a common bristleworm/fireworm, you are most likely falsely accusing it for damaging your bta. They simply arent equipped to be killing and eating anything healthy regardless of how big they are, and I surely wouldnt be ripping my reef apart to get him out.
