biggest M. setosa colony?

I'd like to see the biggest Montipora setosa colony out there. Seems like it grows pretty well, and has odd structure. By now SOMEONE who bought a 1/2" frag must have let it grow out instead of fragging it for moolah :D

I would take a look at tamarindthai's colony, largest I've seen. Grows well for me also, just gotta quit breaking branches at maintenance time.

The biggest one I have seen is at Your Reef. This is the picture off their website and it was larger than that last time I was there.

Th setosa has such an orange hue, that piece must be incredible to see in person. My setosa is one of the brightest pieces in my tank

That had to be awhile ago. It definitely has grown. He even has second colony now

wow when I got my tiny frag I had actually never seen a full colony. Now I like it even more :eek1: The color is the main reason I bought one, but those look amazing!

Well mine encrusts but it seems to grow randomly creating spikes. Currently under high light and relatively high current. Brilliant orange.

I could not agree more! I just talked to John (Your Reef) about this piece the other day. It is by far the biggest colony I have seen...
